what should i study for physical/massage therapist or cosmotology?(i dont know how to spell it) hehe?

i like exciting things…im not a sitting in an office kind of girl! i like to help others and i like beauty but i also like health related things, im stuck between these to carrers which one should i do!?!?!?!?!? help me pleasssseeee!?!?!?!

a cosmetologist is way easier to become compared to a physio therapist!
A physio is like a doctor. you have to go to university or college, med school, all that stuff. And it will take you quite a while to actually become it! But you will get a lot more money then a cosmetologist.

A massage therapist could be considered wither one of the two jobs (physio or cosmetologist)

Being a cosmetologist will take only a couple of years and i dont think you even need to have a high school education. You will get to do your job while a person studying to be a physio will still be in school. But you wont earn nearly as much as they will.

Also, in my personal opinion, being a physio wont be as "exciting" as you may picture it. A lot of what they do is just helping injured people with there muscles. stuff like teaching stretches, excersises, and other ways to be fit. alot of there patients are seniors too.

And i have heard that the hands of a message therapists get really messed up after only a couple years. And you wont be able to do that job for very long too. Honestly, would you want a massage from some 50 year old woman, or even someone past 35?

What is the 411 on getting a massage at a health spa that serves men and women?

My experiences with having a massage have been limited. Most of the massages I have had in the past were for physical therapy. I got ultrasound and a few nurses that had chiropractor experience kneaded my back for medical purposes. My ex-girlfriends and my ex-wife also gave me massages as well. I have never been to a massage salon. I thought those were mostly for women as part of beauty spas. At the mall where I work nights and weekends, there was a display with various vendors selling products. One vendor was a beauty spa and advertised massages. I asked if they did massage for men and they said yes and the price seemed affordable. What is the deal with these places? I don’t want to pay upfront and then have some man come in and no thank you because I don’t want a massage from a man. I want a female masseuse. Do I wear a towel and do they do a full body rub down? It’s not a massage parlor/escort sort of place so I don’t want to do anything inappropriate. Do they avoid rubbing where I have my towel or is it full body? I did get a massage at a bachelor party the guys went to a strip club that had women that did massage. It was nice but I could only take my shirt off and had to leave the shirt on my arm. I told the girl who massaged me that I might check out some place like a spa because it was great. It is mostly to ease tension and I do have some lower back pain but not pain enough to do physical therapy. I think getting a massage now and then would help for stress relief. Do you get massage on a regular basis? How does it go? What are the rules? Obviously asking the masseuse out on a date after work would be taboo. I would prefer men’s answers but women can also reply. Again, please do not confuse this with escort massage because that is not it.

at a professional health spa you’ll get a massage according to the plan you pick – deep, regular, sport. You’re correct it’s not escort massage you’ve basically answered your question – not erotic, just doing their job.
