A co-worker of mine is 7 months pregnant and is having lower back pains at work. The chairs aren’t very comfortable and I was curious if any women have any advice for her on how to help alleviate her sore back. She says pillows aren’t helping much. Is there anything she can slip on the back like a massager or the such to help?

I get REALLY bad back pains, i’m 9 months pregnant, and what helps me is heat, like a heating pad, or you can go to the drug store and buy kinda stick on heat pads, they last up to 8 hours and they feel VERY goodd!!

I have tried warm baths hot showers my boyfriend rubbing it a back massager thing and nothing is help. It’s all in My lower back all the way across, is this normal?

If yes anyone know anything to try to help the pain?

epsom salt bath, vicks vapo rub on your back and REGULAR STRENTH tylenal.

You mean it’s really for my back.

I thought my wife was joking.

I haven’t gained much weight at all, I’m 6 months pregnant and look it. Every now and then, my lower back starts hurting really bad. I exercise as directed by my doctor like I am supposed, and I eat healthy for the most part. Even those little back massagers don’t make the pain go away. It’s not very often, but maybe once or twice a month, but it hurts baaaaaad when it does.

i had that sort of pain as well.
there is not a lot you can do,get a body pillow to ease the pressure from your back but apart from that you must keep the weight off your feet when you can,once the baby comes you will be good.

We have just found out my wife is pregnant and I was wondering, as her back is sore (has been on and off since the birth of our first), is it safe to use one of those electric back massagers??

It is one of those hand held ones.

Any advise is helpful.

I would stop using just to be safe until your wife goes to the doctor . In the meantime, give her massages using your hands
