is this story interesting?
September 15th 2017
Up, up, up, at the peak of a mountain, a gray man watches the stars, using his last possession; a telescope. Knowing his obvious fate (death) he looks at the world one last time. The celestial figures looked newer that night, as if they’d just been born. Smiling the man prepares his grave, digging with a nearby stick, at a very slow speed. Until…“Kaboom!” The startled man covers his eyes with his arm, blocking the intense light. Before long the man seizes to exist. As he melts into the non-vegetated ground, he leaves his telescope stranded.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the vastness of space, a black hole erupts to an enormous size, a space shuttle carrying but one man becomes its victim. The young man pleads for help as the black hole’s strength possesses his shuttle. The tired man gives up, and due to zero gravity, and the black hole’s power, he gets sucked into … into what?
A few years earlier…
“Take him!” cried the old woman with a hoarse voice as she dragged a teenager down the hall to the guidance office.
“LET GO OF ME!” the boy screamed as he struggled to loosen the lady’s powerful grip. As the woman hands the boy to an unfamiliar female figure, the boy’s cheeks flush to bright red when he notices the amount of attention drawn towards him. Upon arrival to the isolated room at the end of the hall, the boy is seated at the only table in the room, facing a large throne-like chair. The dim light flickered as the unfamiliar lady seated herself facing him. She had long golden locks neatly tied into a bun, and a toothpaste ad smile; the only object in the room that seemed to shed positive light. The boy sat uneasily with a crooked, nervous smile.
“What’s wrong with you?” The lady asked him. The boy, dumbstruck said nothing. “Nyx, you’ve been acting strange for the past …” The lady stopped when she noticed the boy’s ignorance. “You need to go home” She said finally.
“No, I’m fine, there’s nothing wrong with me” He said surprised at the lady’s declaration. His eyes twitched; the woman noticed; as he said those words. His eyes slowly gained blood, his body shook slowly, at first, but later accelerated speed, soon his eyes were blood shot and he was shaking violently. The lady sat there in awe. Wanting to run but not being able too, she sat there…staring. When he paced down a couple notches, she looked at him and said that he needed to go home. “WHY?!” Nyx shouted. Astonished by the outburst, the councillor shook her head absentmindedly.
“Why don’t you want to go home, you’re sick, and need rest, at least take a few days off of school to calm yourself.” The guidance counsellor said. She noticed his face was abnormally pale, his hair unusually dark, and his blood was unevenly spread throughout his body; she decided by the splotches of duller colour on his skin. Nyx’s long hair was tied in a long ponytail; the lady considered this for a moment, odd, for a boy she thought… no, in today’s society even the girls have short hair, very strange indeed she concluded. Suddenly blood oozed out from the boy’s fingernails; not being able to contain her fright, the lady screamed. “Get your hands off of my desk!” Offended the boy took his fingers off of the table, and turned away, tears started up in his enormous inky black eyes.
Guilty, the lady takes his hand, and slowly says “You need to go home”. Still sobbing, the boy shakes his head. The lady sighs and picks up the phone “Take him to Azar, this boy needs…” when she realized the boy’s attentive interest, she softened her voice. “Code 572” she finished. But it was too late, the boy had heard and started to run, slamming the door behind him he darted towards the field. Unable to run because of blood loss from his nails, he fainted.
*****
The next morning I found myself on a bed, in an empty room. I guess I must’ve fallen asleep again, because the next thing I knew; I was being shaken by a group of specialists, asking for me to wake up. When I became completely aware of my surroundings, I remembered yesterday. Oh no, I thought. A friendly looking man, whom looked a lot like the well known “Azar” walked up to me and seated himself by my side.
“How did you get those marks on your back, those needle holes all over your body, and all those other bizarre things?” he asked me. I didn’t want to respond, because if I did I would be in big trouble, that’s one thing I don’t want… at all. “You realize that you have dangerous chemicals inside of your body, right?” I knew that, of course I knew that, after all it is my body. “Whoever did this to you must be crazy, you can die!” I knew that too, I kept my mouth shut. “So will you please tell me who did this to you?” Why is he speaking slowly, I know English O.k.? I thought
I don’t think I understand the whole plot, as I’m assuming its far from finished.
Here’s what I think: You have a very promising story there BUT you use too much cliche and sometimes corny phrases like "seizes to exist", "dim light flickered", and "toothpaste ad smile". It’s also awkward how you phrase things and pattern words to describe a scene.
Example: "Astonished by the outburst, the councillor shook her head absentmindedly". Now how can someone’s reaction to being astonished be ’shaking absentmindedly’?
Also, some details seem over the top and over-descriptive.
I suggest finding a proofreader. I think you have a good story there already. You just need to change your phrasing.
How to do this problem: Introduction to Static Equilibrium?
Learning Goal: To understand the conditions necessary for static equilibrium.
Look around you, and you see a world at rest. The monitor, desk, and chair—and the building that contains them—are in a state described as static equilibrium. Indeed, it is the fundamental objective of many branches of engineering to maintain this state in spite of the presence of obvious forces imposed by gravity and static loads or the more unpredictable forces from wind and earthquakes.
The condition of static equilibrium is equivalent to the statement that the bodies involved have neither linear nor angular acceleration. Hence static mechanical equilibrium (as opposed to thermal or electrical equilibrium) requires that the forces acting on a body simultaneously satisfy two conditions:
\sum \vec{F} = 0 and \sum \vec{\tau}=0;
that is, both external forces and torques sum to zero. You have the freedom to choose any point as the origin about which to take torques.
Each of these equations is a vector equation, so each represents three independent equations for a total of six. Thus to keep a table static requires not only that it neither slides across the floor nor lifts off from it, but also that it doesn’t tilt about either the x or y axis, nor can it rotate about its vertical axis.
Part A
Frequently, attention in an equilibrium situation is confined to a plane. An example would be a ladder leaning against a wall, which is in danger of slipping only in the plane perpendicular to the ground and wall. By orienting a Cartesian coordinate system so that the x and y axes are in this plane, choose which of the following sets of quantities must be zero to maintain static equilibrium in this plane.
\sum F_x and \sum \tau_z and \sum F_y
\sum F_z and \sum \tau_x and \sum \tau_y
\sum \tau_x and \sum F_x and \sum \tau_y and \sum F_y
\sum \tau_x and \sum F_x and \sum \tau_y and \sum F_y and \sum \tau_z
Torque is always perpendicular to xy plane (containing vector forces) so 1st choice is the answer.
Information on Zero Gravity Chair?
Any info, where it’s made, specific inventer, designer, when designed, benefits, price, anything you might know. Thanks!
relax the back store.
they sell them all the time, on their website.
Benefits- omg, you will LOVE how it feels. You feel totally 100% weightless, like floating. your back clear up, all the weight goes off your rib cage and you become like a cloud floating without any sensation of your body.
I bought one when I had incredible back pain.
It fixed it within five days. I couldn’t believe it.
I bought the memory foam, luxury leather, electric version- I upgraded as much as I could.
The basic one- cloth covering, normal foam, hand opearted recline, is about 1600 bucks.
Mine cost 2200.
It was worth EVERY PENNY.
After a year I had no need for it, and was moving, so I decided to sell it. When I say I had no ned for it, I mean, it was fantastic and you always need a chair this good, but I was moving so didn’t want to cart it around.
I sold it for 1800 and it was an incredibly good resale, they go like hotcakes on ebay- I kept mine in perfect condition.
I would toatlly recommend the electric recline- the electic button makes the difference.
And the memory foam- it’s a lot thicker, and it is that heavy astronaut foam that keeps your body shape.
should i buy this chair?
it is the Fully-Reclinable Chair with Zero Gravity Technology
it is from a magazine called "seventh avenue." it cost $299, $25 a month. (plz dont say something like " its to much") thanks
here is the web site:

This, without argument, is a cool-looking chair, and I’m sure it has some beneficial attributes for certain users.
I see you broke the payment down into monthly amounts. That tells me that you would have to finance the cost of the piece. Is that a bad thing? Absolutely not. However, unless you’re a person who suffers from back or circulation problems – someone who is otherwise uncomfortable in other chairs – I’d rethink the purchase.
I know you probably don’t want to hear this, but maybe you need to. (After all, you are on the fence about your decision). There’s are huge novelty factor at work here. You THINK you’ll use the chair regularly, it’ll make you healthier and happier, etc., etc. Often times, that’s not the reality. If you truly benefit by this resting position, why not lie on a floor with pillows under your knees? Granted, it’s not nearly as glamorous, but think … really think … about owning that chair day after day after day. The novelty will more than likely wear off before the payments do.
Hope this is helpful and that you’re confident in whatever choice you make.
All You Need to Know about Zero gravity chair
Check out this great site on http://www.cwglive.com/lifestyle/chair/ZeroGravityChair.php The number of hours that we spend being seated is clearly amazing. More so nowadays, with all the technology that we have around us, and the need to be seated to use it. Count the number of hours you remain in a seated position and you are certainly going to give your chair a better look. Most orthopedics recommend the Zero gravity chair as it is the only ergonomically designed chair that goes on to support your spine, enhance your seating posture and ensures that somewhere down the line you don’t suffer from a whole lot of health hazards all because you did not use the right chair.

What are the physical effects of rapid acceleration in a zero gravity environment?
If a space ship was traveling at a near zero relative speed and suddenly accelerated to a great speed, wouldn’t their inertia combined with the vessel’s rapid acceleration turn them into quivering piles of jelly?
Star Trek has people going from impulse speed to 9 times the speed of light inside of a second! OK OK, they have some wonder device called inertial dampeners, but if they didn’t… wouldn’t they all become instant stains on the backs of their chairs???
Put simply, can you have ‘G-Force’ via acceleration in zero gravity?
I believe Albert Einstein said gravity is a form of acceleration, but not sure if/ how that applies due to lack of formal education…. PLEASE HELP!
force = mass times acceleration. So there would be a tremendous force exerted on them. On earth we sometimes mention force in units of G force:
F = g*Gforce or, Gforce = F/g
On earth g = 9.8 m/sec^2. However if in space, g = 0, then you are dividing by zero. In space, they would be experiencing infinite Gs.
What is the worlds greatest beach chair?
As the summer approaches I am continuing my search for the greatest beach chair, lounge, hammock etc. I have tried a lot and still not found the best. I think it needs to be reasonably portable and lightweight, as well as comfortable. I have had a folding hammock, but that was heavy, zero gravity chairs are difficult to carry, i had a folding lounge chair that was great but broke every month and the traditional small beach chair with the backpack that made it easy to transport, but not that comfy. Whats your opinion and why?
I like adirondack beach chairs. They look like they’d be really uncomfortably, but actually you just sink into them. Very relaxing, I used them on my most recent vacation:

Also, the wood and canvas beach chairs are pretty comfortable and relaxing and easier to transport:
