Yard sale pricing..does this sound good?
We have an extremely heavy antique wooden framed mirror..we paid $75 at a Good Will type place years and years ago and no longer have anywhere to put it. I’m thinking about asking $45 but going no lower than $35 because it is still in excellent condition. For clothes I’m thinking 50 cents unless it’s something heavy or was really expensive…baby clothes 3 for $1 unless it’s the same situation…I have a 10cup coffeemaker does $10 seem reasonable? Thighmaster for $5? And I have this back massager from HoMedics I was thinking $10? There’s also some handmade jewelry that I made with Austrian crystal beads and various other beads like Tiger’s Eye and Snowflake Obsidian. Some are bracelet earring sets and I was thinking maybe $10 for the sets and $5 for the single bracelets? I’ve also got a bunch of still wrapped toys from McD’s (my mom works there) I think a quarter is good right?
Your prices sound good to me. Although you sound a little low on the mirror. Make sure you mark that it’s an antique, and advertise it that way in your ads. It will help it sell better.
Is this a good massage chair? I am trying to buy my parents a decently priced but good quality chair.?

Does heat make much difference in a massage?
I’ve been looking at these HoMedics massagers for Christmas for my folks, and basically narrowed it down to two options—SBM-300 and SBM-300H. The one with the heat is $40 more expensive, so I need to know whether the heat makes THAT much of a difference in a massage.
My mom is a very warmth-loving person and my dad couldn’t care less (hence I keep my window open to go this dang heat out of my room in November, but anyways)—so what I need to know is, is heat worth those extra $40?
Massage itself produces heat to the area through mechanical friction and nervous system response that encourages more blood to enter the small blood vessels of the skin. It takes a few minutes though. Personally, I believe the whole "heat" functions on those massagers are unnecessary, unless all you plan to do is use the heat function and no massage action. A reheatable warm pack should be more effective than anything on the device if heat is what you are after. If you think your ma would like the extra heat function, then it is worth the extra forty bucks, because it will get used. It’s better than being reminded periodically that "a heat function would have been nice, ya know."

Have you ever been bought a Christmas present that has stayed in it`s box?
I bought a Homedics Quad Massager, in the Cargo shop for a friend, for around £10. I think it`s quite good. I`ve just been trying it out. It has batteries included and has 4 massage nodes for strong relief, a hand grip for comfort and illuminated massage heads. The friend in question, loves massages.
I just have visions that it is the sort of present that will remain in it`s box. I hope this question doesn`t sound too rude……… ![]()
Ghost – Yes, they don`t sound like my cup of tea either. Lol.
Mark – Are you angling for a present?? ![]()
Would you be interested in a Homedics Quad Massager. No don`t answer that. XX.
i was given some diesel perfume gift box thing about 2 years ago from a mate, its still in the box, never touched it
My whacked cat is at it again!
